What we store
- Your username and display name — the name you picked, not your real one.
- Your avatar pick — one of our preset avatars. There are no profile photo uploads.
- Your age group only — 13–15, 16–17, or 18+. We never store your birthday, and your age group is never shown on your profile or to other users.
- Your activity on STYLA — the posts you publish and the things you like, save, and follow. Other people can only ever see totals (like a post’s like count), never who liked or saved what.
- The email you signed up with — used only to verify your account and let you sign in. It is never public.
What we never collect
- Your real name
- Your school
- Your location
- Your contacts or phone number
We don’t ask for any of these, and our community guidelines don’t allow them in posts either.
Photos
Photos can secretly carry the exact location where they were taken. We strip that location data automatically from every photo the moment it’s uploaded, before anything else happens to it.
Links out
When you tap an item and leave STYLA for a store, we count the click anonymously — so creators can see “42 people tapped this jacket,” never who tapped it. The store you land on is a separate company with its own privacy policy.
No ads that follow you
We don’t run tracking ads, we don’t build advertising profiles of you, and we don’t sell your data. Full stop.
Seeing your data
Everything above is yours to look at. Your account page has a Download your data button that hands you one file with your profile, age group, posts, boards, likes, saves, follows and notifications — no request form, no waiting.
Deleting your account
Open your account page and tap Delete account. You confirm it’s you, and your account, posts, boards, activity and photos are erased right then — no waiting, no emailing. If you can’t sign in, write to support from the address on your account and a human does it for you. It’s your data — leaving is allowed to be easy.
